next week i'm coming to aalen, but i need to get there from Stuttgart's airport, and a a friend of mine just told me that the train doesn't work propperly!
can i get aalen by bus?
anyone know the bus line or whatever?
thanks!

Antwort
You can drive to Aalen from Stuttgart by train normally without problems. Unfortunately the rails on this route are being renewed at the moment.

Thus you have to drive by train from Stuttgart to Schorndorf, from Schorndorf by bus to Schwäbisch Gmünd and finally from Schwäbisch Gmünd to Aalen by train again. The whole distance takes you about two hours.

Living only 20 minutes from Aalen I must say I've only gone there on business and to visit the Thermal Bad. After discovering this website, I will definitely tour more of the city and take in it's rich history. Used to live in Oregon but now loving it in Germany. Who knew Aalen had so many treasures? Very interactive website. I appreciate it. In fact, today we are going to the Bad again so will take in the town square. Thanks again.
