Public Transport
The local public bus system in Aalen is operated by four bus companies, which are united through the Traffic Division of Aalen (VGA). A broad network of bus stops exists though the VGA. The pivotal point of the bus traffic is the central bus station (ZOB), which forms the center of local passenger traffic in Aalen together with the taxi center outside the main train station, and the train station itself.
The information office and contact point of the Traffic Division of Aalen, the “Buspunkt”, is located at the end of the shopping area at the central bus station (ZOB).

Parking
In Aalen there is a sufficient number of parking places for individual traffic. Whether you drive into the city center for shopping, an event at the Stadthalle or to a sporting event in the stadium, walking distance is minimal.
For persons with physical impairments, a large number of parking places are reserved.
Bicycle Paths
Aalen has a well planned and safe bicycle network over 20 kilometers in length. At the city hall lockable bicycle boxes are available free of charge for your peace of mind.
