The urban district of Aalen-Ebnat, in a picturesque hollow of the Härtsfeld, has developed in the last few decades into a popular suburb. Aalen-Ebnat, with its own suburbs of Aalen-Niesitz and Aalen-Affalterwang, contains approximately 3300 inhabitants. The area covers about 2109 hectares.
